Hello! I'm Shana (Shaw-na)
I am an artist living in the beautiful PNW of the United States. I work with many types of mediums, most frequently fabric and beads. I love new ideas and recycling old things into new ones.

Everything that we are is because we work together as a family. My wonderful partner supports and encourages this ongoing business with everything he has to give. We are in it together. We have 2 boys, 2 cats and 2 giant fluffy dogs, if we've met, I have apologized about the doggo hair.
Sewing & Alterations
From the downtown Hillsboro studio location, inside The Artful Garden Building. I offer a variety of sewing and alteration services.
I am currently available Tuesday - Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM unless otherwise dictated by an event.
From fabric upholstery to hemming work pants and wedding dresses I am available to help you with your sewing needs.

CLOAKS
A very wonderful thing I create! I love making cloaks! I have a very special collection available at The Crystal Heart Boutique in Downtown Hillsboro and in my Etsy store. I show new exclusive cloaks and other items every year at The Celtic Fantsy Faire hosted this year in August, 2025 in Shute Park right here in Hillsboro, Oregon. Custom orders are always welcome!

The 2nd Drawer Down Lessons
If you are new to sewing or think you need a refresher course, I offer private lessons. Please call or text me at 503-389-8847 to schedule an appointment or lesson. $45 for a 90 minute lesson, per student.
I am planning on returning to teaching a community sewing class at the Cornelius Public Library from November to March in the DLC. Bring your own machine, pop by to asking a question or join in!
